This is where I will give more details about us, the plural form of I, as the Webmaster. I'll try not to bore you with my own interests and hobbies (Sorry, I don't actually live in Pokemon World though it is one of my hobbies). I'll probably update this page as often as my GuestBook page...
The History of Pokemon and Me
One of the questions I get asked alot (Mainly by anti-Pokemon peers) is why do I like Pokemon? Why do I like it more than DBZ or Yu-gi-oh? While, I do have some respect for other successful Anime/CGs, Pokemon has been with me for a longer time and I have grown up with it. I did not like it at all when I was reading about how such a great thing it was to the Japanese and how it will be a big fad in America. To me, the pictures I saw in magazines back in 1996 did not appeal to me at all. I saw Pokemon like Weepinbell, Poliwhirl, Mr. Mime, and Pikachu and having no idea of what they do, I made a biased decision that Pokemon was about a bunch of clowns. But as the comics were being released in 1998 I changed my mind. Pokemon did not seem as bad as I thought it was. The story line was Ok and I had the urge to "Catch 'em all!" and so I awaited the first episode of Pokemon on channel 13 at 7:00am on Sept. 4, 1998. Unfortunately, that was not the first episode (It was actually Ep. 14, Battle Aboard the St. Anne) but I still watched it eagerly. For the next 3 months I watched every single episode. I have to admit, I did cry on 2 occasions and came to school in tears when Butterfree left and during 'Pikachu's Goodbye'. I was only 11 then and an elementary student so it's not like I still cry over cartoons... On Sept. 29 I bought Pokemon Blue. In about a month I had over 125 Pokemon and by the end of the year I had 149. I was missing 1 Pokemon: Exeggutor! I had never heard of this Pokemon in magazines and I had only seen its name in PokeRaps. I eventually found out that Exeggcute evolves. (Boy did I feel stupid :) I bought every single Pokemon item that came out: All the KFC POkemon Beanies, Pokemon Toys, and I still have every Video Game that came out. In February I had heard of a Pokemon trading card game but I had decided I would not play it because Nintendo did not make it and the Pokemon had different attacks than in the show/game. Then that Summer, after hearing one of my friends liked the game I bought my 1st Booster Pack, a 1st Ed. Jungle Pack containing a Holo Kangaskhan! I have not traded a single card since I got one. Two reasons: 1) It ensures 100% of my cards are 100% real 2) When two people trade, someone always gets the upperhand, I don't want to take advantage of people nor do I want to be taken advantage of. People say to me that you'll never "Catch 'em all" if you don't trade and yet I have 5,000+ cards all in great condition with an exception to one Kabuto (Stupid Dog). That year I also got Pokemon Pinball, Snap, and Yellow. I also saw the Pokemon Movie ASAP! 2000 was a great year for Pokemon and in my opinion it was the Peak of the "Fad". New Pokemon were introduced and I was all over them. A new movie was introduced and I went to my first STS and came in around 100/200 which I thought was pretty good. 5 TCG sets had been released and 20 Promos were out. I collected all 8 badges in the League and continued to enter Tournaments. I never won at all but I was determined to come back and play more. Pokemon GOld/Silver, Stadium, TCG, and Hey You, Pikachu! were all released that year and I got those as well as watch Ash, Misty, and Tracy travel the Orange Islands. 2001 was a 'fun' year for me at least. In April, Pokemon the movie 3 was released as well as Pokemon Stadium 2! Pokemon Crystal was released that August. The TCG was the best part. I participated in the STS that year and had more fun. Neo 2 had just been released and Kabutops finally got its chance to be put into a deck! I also won my first Tournament. The last Saturday of 2001 I won a tournament with a 'Fable/Muk deck. The thing that made me feel good was that I won the last tournament ever held at that store. After that everyone switched to DBZ and it all collapsed. 2002 started out bad for me. I could not find a league to attend until June and I went to the Stadium Challenge without having a decent battle in months. I could not enter because I'm 15 now and I don't like Rochester draft (Too much pressure if you ask me) so I entered the Unlimited Tournament. I experienced all the things I remembered about Pokemon the previous years: the fun, the strategy, the winning :), and the occasional cheater. A new Pokemon Movie came out in the Fall.No new games were released this year and the TCG went kind of slow. A new season for the TV show is starting and new Pokemon have started popping up (Kekleon). 2003 has been quite interesting. New games, new cards, new movie and shows. Someone seemed to plug Pokemon back into the Electrical socket... Nintendo! Wizards handed the game to Nintendo. I enjoy it still even if the rules are kind of... different. The new Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire games are great and the Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire is good. Pokemon Movie 5 came out and a new Season started. I attended the last Wizards Event and placed 1st in that tournament (Go Lanturn!) and I lost miserably at the Ruby and Sapphire Challenge. Ironically, I lost the TCG matches and won the Game Boy matches... That leads me to today. I currently am looking for a Pokemon League near my house but it seems I'm out of luck... But don't worry! I'll still go to any and all events that I can! As for the future... Is it possible to predict the Future of Pokemon? To an extent, yes. Pokemon seems to get boosts when new Seasons start, new Pokemon are released, and new movies come out, sort of like those electronic machines at the hospital which monitor your heart if that makes any sense to you... I have a feeling that as long as there are people willing to live Pokemon (Like it seems I do) there will always be more.

My Other Hobbies
I am also in Band, Drama, and Agape. These three activities really take up a lot of time. On average I spend 11 hours a day at school or working on school activities (Homework) [This does not include Weekends]. The rest of my time I play Pokemon and other video games. I am a Junior in High School and I have a couple AP Classes too. I currently have a 4.1 GPA and I've never had a B in my life. The instrument I play now is called the Marching Baritone.
